Privacy Policy

Application: ArgilCAD (also presented as “AI3DModel”) (the “App” or “Service”).
Data Controller: ArgilDesign (“ArgilCAD”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we process when you use the App, why, the legal grounds we rely on, with whom we share it, and the rights you have. It is written to comply with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and, where applicable, the EU/UK GDPR. It is incorporated into our Terms of Service.

1. Who We Are and Scope

1.1. ArgilCAD, operated by ArgilDesign, is the data controller (in KVKK terms, veri sorumlusu) responsible for the personal data processed through the App.

1.2. This Policy applies to personal data we process when you install, access, register for, or use the App and its AI-assisted features, across all supported platforms (desktop, web, and, where offered, mobile).

1.3. The App relies on third-party services to function. Those third parties process data under their own privacy policies; this Policy explains what we share and why. See Section 6.

2. Personal Data We Process

(a) Account and identity data. Email address, email-verification status, whether your account is anonymous/guest, authentication identifiers, and account timestamps. Authentication is handled through Firebase Authentication.

(b) Subscription and billing data. Your subscription tier (e.g., Free/Pro), remaining monthly Credits, subscription status, and billing/transaction identifiers. Payments are handled by our payment processors (Paddle on web/desktop; the Apple App Store / Google Play via RevenueCat on mobile). We do not collect or store your full payment-card numbers.

(c) Content you submit (“Inputs”). The text prompts, parameters, and reference images you provide to generate models. These are transmitted to Third-Party AI Providers to produce Output. Please do not include personal, confidential, or sensitive information in your prompts or images unless necessary.

(d) Generated content (“Output”). Generated source code, 3D geometry, and exported files (e.g., GLB, STEP, STL). Your projects, models, and generation history are primarily stored locally on your device.

(e) Support data. When you submit feedback or a support request, we process the message, its category, and the contact email associated with your request.

(f) Usage and analytics data. Application version, platform/OS version, device model, language/locale, selected AI provider, feature usage, and similar diagnostic information.

(g) Technical data. IP address and connection metadata processed as a normal part of delivering an internet service.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data (e.g., health, biometric, religious, or political data).

3. How and Why We Use Personal Data, and Legal Bases

Under the GDPR, the relevant legal basis is shown in brackets; under the KVKK we rely on the corresponding conditions in Articles 5–6.

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you. We do not sell your personal data.

4. AI Processing of Your Inputs

4.1. To generate models, your prompts and reference images are sent to one or more Third-Party AI Providers (which may include, among others, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and xAI). The selected provider processes your Input to generate code and geometry, which is returned to the App.

4.2. The providers’ handling of data, including any retention for safety or abuse-monitoring, is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to avoid submitting personal or confidential information in prompts and images.

5. Where Data Is Stored

5.1. On your device. Your projects, generated models, generation history, and preferences are stored locally and remain under your control. Uninstalling the App or clearing its data removes locally stored content.

5.2. In the cloud. Account, subscription, Credit, and support data are stored with our cloud providers (including Firebase / Google Cloud). Our backend keeps service credentials and performs cloud generation, authentication, and billing; the local component does not hold service secrets.

6. Sharing and Third-Party Processors

Authentication & cloud storage: Google Firebase / Google Cloud.
AI providers: Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI.
Payment processing: Paddle; Apple App Store / Google Play via RevenueCat.
Analytics: Google Analytics and similar diagnostic services.
Professional advisers and authorities: where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the Service.
Business transfers: a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

7. International Data Transfers

Some recipients (including AI, cloud, analytics, and payment providers) are located outside Türkiye and/or the EEA, including in the United States. Where we transfer personal data abroad, we do so in accordance with KVKK Article 9 and, for GDPR-covered data, on the basis of appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, an adequacy decision, or your explicit consent where required.

8. Retention

8.1. We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including for the life of your account and as required to comply with legal, accounting, tax, or reporting obligations.

8.2. Locally stored content persists on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated cloud personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain data by law.

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including access controls, segregation of service secrets from the local component, encryption in transit, and use of reputable cloud providers. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights

10.1. Under the KVKK (Article 11), you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information; to learn its purpose; to know the third parties to whom it is transferred; to request correction, erasure, or destruction; to object to results arising solely from automated analysis; and to claim compensation for damages caused by unlawful processing.

10.2. Under the GDPR (where applicable), you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time.

10.3. How to exercise your rights. Contact us at tesimsek@gmail.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (under the KVKK, generally within 30 days). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurumu) or your local supervisory authority.

11. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children and is intended for users who are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Cookies and Similar Technologies (Web)

On the web version, we and our providers may use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, and analytics. Where required by law, we will request consent for non-essential cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

On our public website (argildesign.com), we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate visitor statistics, such as the number of visitors, pages viewed, and approximate location (country and city) derived from your IP address. Analytics cookies are disabled by default and are only set after you accept them via our cookie banner. Until you accept, Google Analytics runs in a cookieless mode that provides only coarse, aggregate, non-identifying data. We enable IP anonymization, and we do not use this data to identify you personally or for advertising. You may decline at any time through the banner, or withdraw a prior acceptance by clearing this site's storage in your browser; Google also offers an opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, in-app or by updating the Effective Date).
